My zodiac sign is Aquarius. It's a water sign. I'm supposedly connected to water. Yet up until this year, I thought my soul found its peace, energy & most connection to the rolling hills, lush foliage and a cabin removed from all human contact. Though I still remain quite connected to my solitude and hermit-lifestyle, these past months living near the ocean have altered my connection. Every time I step over the dunes and see the ocean I breathe easier and deeper; so as to sense my soul. All this to say, I am so grateful for this revelation. I love the ocean and having an abandoned, no-tourists stretch of beach a few feet from where I've lived this winter has been so incredible. Guess there's some truth after all about one's zodiac sign. I'm am definitely an Aquarius.

Backyard
This is "in my backyard".
Meaning, it's literally behind the house, around the corner, a block away, near the ocean, on the marsh.
Spring has arrived because the geese are returning north.

Where's Spring?
Though the calendar reads "Springtime is here" the weather and temperature outside tells us something different here in northern New England. It was 0 degrees last night with strong winds.
"O, Spring, where art thou?"

End of Street
It's a short street I live on with beach houses on both sides ending with a view of the marsh, more houses and the Atlantic on the other side.
A hospital?
This is the regional hospital in Wells, Maine, just few miles north of Ogunquit. It's gorgeous and inside like a warm, cozy ski lodge with a big fireplace and New England brand coffee while you wait.
